Engagement portrait with Corgi and Westie

Happy Friday! This engagement portrait from Lindsay Collette Photography just says “love!”

From Bria: “Winston, is a 6 year old Westland Highland Terrier Mix. We adopted from our girls at K9 Justice League out of Virginia Beach. He was brought up from northern North Carolina with help from PAWS of Hertford County. It was love at first sight when I came across his picture online. We have had him for 4 years. He drives us crazy but we love him more than anything! He will always be our ‘first baby.’ He came out of an abusive situation and is literally scared of everything. He had severe separation anxiety after he got acclimated to our home, which led us to think another dog might help him.

Which leads to: Cameron’s grandfather passed away about 3 years ago and he had two dogs. We decided to inherit the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Ayla, while Cameron’s cousin took in the Lab, Zach. Ayla is 9 years old. She is a typical bossypants Corgi; she loves to play and chase any/everything. While she is most definitely the boss of Winston, she really helped calm his demeanor and we never had another problem with the separation anxiety.
