Although my landscape still resembles frozen tundra, I know that it is warm in other places. I’m hoping to spread some of that sunshine and warmth with Chantal Benoit’s summer engagement session complete with a Lab/Shepherd mix in a flowered bandanna!
From Chantal: When we scheduled their engagement session, Sandy approached me with the idea of having their photos taken at the Chateau Montebello since it’s close to their home.
I immediately jumped on the occasion since it is such an exceptional scenic area and I knew the images would be outstanding. The grounds are well maintained with lots of flowers also there is now a new gazebo beside the Ottawa river and as always the cedar log which gives a rustic feel.
We had fun taking photos at different areas of the Chateau Montebello and included their dog Moka who tagged along for a few images.
From Sandy: “Moka was born in April 2012 on a farm of our friend. They couldn’t keep her because they had many puppies. So we gladly welcome her in our family.
She is a mix of Labrador and German Shepherd. She is a very gentle dog. She loves kids and she loves to play in the river (we live near the water.) Her main ‘bad habit’ is that she has to sleep with us every single night!”
