There are lots of great ways to celebrate an anniversary. I really enjoy it when couples incorporate a photo shoot, especially when the whole family is included! Alyssa from Barnwood + Brick photographed Caitlin, Jon and Emma.
From Alyssa: “I had such fun with this Seattle anniversary shoot featuring Emma, a feisty four-year old Rhodesian Ridgeback. Emma was a rescue from the Seattle Humane Society. Caitlin and Jon are an active couple who were looking for the perfect companion to fit their lifestyle – they immediately fell in love with Emma’s energy and playfulness and knew she was the furry member of the family they’d been looking to add.
I was able to spend a gorgeous Seattle afternoon a while back with Jon, Caitlin and dog Emma downtown before heading out to the beach near Discovery Park for some playtime. Fetch, cupcakes, and general debauchery ensued, and it was a joy to capture it all.
This particular session was photographed to celebrate Jon + Cait’s third wedding anniversary. I loooooove it so much when a couple appreciates how important it is to document and remember little milestones such as this—a marriage is so much more than just a wedding, why not photograph the journey?”
You can see more of this fun anniversary session on the Barnwood and Brick blog.
