For the first time ever, I’m almost afraid to share a session. Lynn from Pup & Co was lucky enough to spend a day photographing Abby a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Abby is so crazy cute that I am afraid you’ll be tempted to go find a Toller for yourself. Be sure you have the right lifestyle for it before you act on that impulse!
From Lynn: “This is beautiful Abby, a two year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Her mom Ashleigh described her as “like a Border Collie, but more energetic” – and she wasn’t wrong! Abby raced around the backyard for two hours while I took photos – jumping, playing and retrieving toys, and when I left (pretty exhausted), she was still not showing any signs of slowing down.
Her owners did a lot of research before committing to such a high energy breed, and good thing they did, because Tollers are not for couch potatoes.”
You can see more of Lynn’s pet photography on her blog. Follow Pup & Co on Facebook too!
Please take a moment to read this story I found on Lynn’s blog. You may need a tissue, but you’ll thank Amy in the future. Mother’s Day is just around the corner, if your favorite mom is a fur mom, consider getting her a gift certificate for a pet portrait!
About Pup & Co: Based in Forest Lake, QLD, Lynn provides modern on location pet photography specializing in dogs and equine photography.

All the photos are beautiful but that last shot… HOLY COW! Fantastic!

Omg, what a cutie! And totally get why you are afraid. Nothing worse than someone getting a dog of a breed they know nothing about only to find out that their lifestyle does not suit the pet’s needs.

OMG I was loving this cutie’s little face, but nothing could have prepared me for the hilarity of that final action shot… awesome!

I saw the photo of Abby jumping that you posted on Pinterest, and I thought it was such a great shot! I didn’t know this breed is so high energy. Good to know 🙂
