I’ve always viewed Valentine’s Day as an opportunity to celebrate individuals who you love having in your life. Whether it is your parents, your best friend, your significant other, your favorite teacher or your dog, there are just some individuals who you can’t imagine your life without! So from now until Valentine’s Day we’ll be featuring the special love only a dog can bring. Cathy Murai photographed one of the sweetest newborn sessions I’ve ever seen.
From Cathy: “I captured my friend’s newborn, Kirsten, when she was only nine days old with her furry brother, Rusty, the lovable fox-red Lab, who is four years old. I also photographed a maternity session for Kirsten’s mom and included Rusty in that session as well.”
From their mom: “Rusty is a four-year-old Fox Red Labrador Retriever. He is our gentle, fun-loving furry kid with an insatiable appetite for treats. He would do almost anything for a treat, especially a banana or an apple. That is how his love for posing for pictures was shaped. If we ever wanted Rusty to be in a picture…it was not a problem…just show him a camera and a treat, and click away. Just be aware that there will be an abundance of drooling.”
