My house feels a little empty lately. Just over a year ago we had five Treeing Walker Coonhounds and three cats (all rescues), but I lost my deaf hound girl to an autoimmune disorder last April, our senior Maine Coon cat in February, and exactly one year to the day after losing Ran, lost my senior Coonhound girl, Suki. We’re down to three dogs and two cats, although we’re looking into adopting another one of each. The three Walker hounds still with us all came from kill shelters in NC and SC within a year of each other – Kenji, Kyoko, and Seiji are the sweetest, most loving dogs. The two cats – Moko and Arata – are as different as night and day. Moko was found as a stray by a friend’s father and is the most people-loving cat I’ve ever met (she’s great with the dogs, too, but doesn’t like other cats). Arata is actually my daughter’s cat and came from a small rescue near Indianapolis (his birth sister was adopted by his foster family, who are friends of my daughter). We want to adopt another cat for Arata to play with, so he will leave Moko alone. He just wants to play, but she wants nothing to do with him.
We have two dogs. 🙂 One is a chihuahua… who is a princess. She just loves to be cuddled and pet all the time. And I swear my husband treats her like his little baby lol. Our second dog is a boarder collie mix and she’s our silly dog. She often runs around corners in our house and slides on the floor bumping into walls or runs into our sliding glass window thinking it’s open. We call her our little “doofus” lol. She is so loving and sweet to us and protects our daughter. I just love both of them so much!
I have a 10 year old American Cocker Spaniel named Coco Chanel Bella. She is dating Carol of Fidose of Reality’s dog Dexter. She is a complete diva and princess. She loves to wear clothes, doesn’t like to get dirty (she won’t dig or roll around in the grass or step in puddles), loves to play ball and go for walks. She is a very happy little girl.
Oh I am a big fan of Coco Chanel Bella! She and Dexter are so cute together!
My Misty, the love of my life, is a beautiful Maltese/Shih Tsu. I adopted her when she was 1 yr. old and she will be 7 in May. We bonded instantly and she has me in the palm of her little paw. My friend says she’s a spoiled rotten little Princess, and that’s ok because she’s my princess…btw she has 3 of her own…LOL..
Aww how great is this?! I have two dogs – a 6 year old chihuahua and a 3 year old chiweenie. We adopted the chiweenie from a rescue when he was 8 weeks old and he’s the most loving little guy in the world.
I have two beautiful cats and a cool Lab dog. They are so loving and fun
I have a 9 month old Black Lab. She loves to run and dig holes. She chases anything that flies and that has gotten her in trouble a few times with the bees. She loves to chew and my house shows the results of that. She is very loving.
We have 3 Cocker Spaniels and one little white cat who was raised on a bottle. They are the light of my life!
We have two crazy and silly boston terriers. One is named Bean and the other is Yoda. They are love bugs who enjoy snuggling and playing with each other!
I have a dog Taz, who is 8 years old. He’s a black lab mix, and my first baby. My husband and I got him about two weeks before we were married. Then there’s our cat Jade, she’s a 13 year old Tortie. I brought her home when she was around 6 years old. They’ve both been my constant companions when my husband is at work all day. We have a daughter who is almost 4 now, and the very first strange symptom I had before finding out I was pregnant was the animals. They wouldn’t leave me alone! They both love to snuggle but it was extreme. It’s amazing that they could smell the change in my body chemistry! Anyway. Those are my furbabies. 🙂
I have a dog named Coco. She is a 6 year old shih Tzu rescued from a backyard breeder. She loves to play with her squeaky toys and yummy healthy treats!
I have three large dogs and twelve cats – all indoors – so I guess you could say I’m a fan of pets!
Our sweetheart is Jake the Malamute, The master of ball-chasing and bed-lying. He’s a rescue, very gentle and loving.
I have a two year old pit bull named Shasta. She is very much a lover who loves to play all the time. My problem is finding toys that she won’t chew through! 🙂
What an incredible giveaway! With three cats, one of whom recently had to have her front leg amputated, litter boxes are a challenge in my house. This includes the dog helping himself to cat “cookies” when he can. Equally important is safety in the car and with a couple of road trips coming up this summer, my dog would be safe with the only car harness to pass the security tests, plus other great prizes 🙂 Good luck to everyone!

We have three dogs. Mowie (lab/border collie) is almost 13, JoJo (chocolate lab) is almost 4 and Marla May (lab/border collie) is 5 months old. They are all spoiled rotten! We love our furbabies!
We adopted two large, long-haired mix breed dogs. Kouga is 10 and an Alaskan Malamute mix and Artie is 6 he is a golden retriever mix. We are so blessed to share our home with these two. They are the best of buddies.
Our house has two jack russell terriers, Nala and Cody who are total nut jobs but keep the house entertained and we has have a senior cat Pyewacket who is the boss and the dog know better than to mess with.

I have two shelties, who are very different from each other. Shiloh, 6, is my heart dog, my once in a lifetime dog. He’s huge for a sheltie- border collie sized- and is very easy going. He loves everyone and is happy as long as he’s doing something with me. We do agility and we’re working on our championship. Little Wager is 2, and is small for a sheltie. He’s just as smart and high energy as Shiloh, but a bit of a trouble maker. He keeps me on my toes and makes me a better trainer as we learn each other.
I have 2 Vizslas! They both have boating names Schooner and Skipper. Skipper is our rescue dog. They are 6 years old. They love to swim in our pool, they love boating on Lake Michigan they swim in the lake, walk the beach and dig holes in the sand! They love water! They are called Velcro dogs ..because you never go to the bathroom by yourself.
I have a large 3 year old goldendoodle named Miles who is SO caring and very funny!
I currently have 6 cats: one who showed up at the ranch i used to live at (who really enjoyed her time as the solo queen of the castle) and 5 newer ones who have shown up as strays here at our new house. What can I say, I’m irresistable to cats!

I love your question! We have three dogs as of now. My sister has a 12 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Bella), and she was the first real dog in my life. 🙂 Then there’s my dog, who is a 9 year old lab (Admiral), who we trained to be a Guide Dog, but failed the program, and we adopted because he was the sweetest and we were already having a hard time thinking about giving him up, even for a good cause. 😛 The latest addition is my younger brother’s 2 year old Chihuahua mix (Keely). I foster dogs for the local Humane Society, and she came through because she had a broken hip & pelvis, and needed foster until she could have surgery and during recovery, including physical therapy, which we did. She almost got adopted by some donors, but they chose their other option, and we got to keep her! She is such a snuggle bug, but she is afraid of cars, and wary of strangers, which we are working on!

Sadly, I am dogless now. I had my Sam for 14 years. He was a black lab. I had to send him to doggie, painless heaven 2 years ago and I still miss him each and every day. I have four kitties…I adopted three and one adopted us!! Cocoa is my oldest (17 years old) Peanut is my chubby middle child (13 years)Sissy is my baby (4 years old) and Fred is my new uninvited but sure glad he is here kitty cat. All of my kitties are black and white. I guess Fred heard about this and decided he belonged here. He does!!

Sadly our 12 year old pug passed away (old age) and our next pup will be an older Frenchie who will will adopt from a rescue. Right now, I am the proud gramma of two Old English Bulldogs (my son and daughter’s) and my daughter (who also foster dogs) just recently adopted her 2 latest fosters (an owner surrender – 9 year old brother and sister. I love spoiling my grand-pups and would be happy with any one of the fabulous prizes listed above. I have three dogs. The first dog is a 15 year old Cocker Spaniel mix named Pancakes. She was adopted from the streets of South Korea and brought to the States. My second dog is Aslan, a 2 year old yellow lab. My third dog is Gumbo a 1 year old golden retriever. Both Aslan and Gumbo used to be guide dogs in training but they didn’t make it into the program for medical and behavioral reasons so now they are loving pets!
